Christian Benigni
Christian combines experiences as an investor, from the financial industry and as leader in the alternative energy sector. Most recently he served as the head of Nikola Energy where he led European strategy implementation and business development. Prior to his time in the hydrogen world Christian has had a distinguished career in London’s financial industry. He built and led two leading service providing firms in the asset management industry, GLG Partners and First Avenue Partners. Christian is invested and supports a series of start-ups companies in the sustainability sector. He holds an MBA from Westfaelische-Wilhelms University in Muenster, Germany.
Dr. Philipp Hensler
Dr. Philipp Hensler was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Epoch Investment Partners, New York and Head of Global Institutional Asset Management for TD Asset Management. Prior to joining Epoch, Dr. Hensler held other high profile executive positions including President and CEO of Vontobel Asset Management Inc. and CEO & Chairman of Oppenheimer Funds Distributors, both in New York. He also spent over a decade at Deutsche Asset Management/DWS Investments, where he held numerous leadership roles in Europe and the United States. While at DWS, he launched the first climate change fund in the USA in 2009. He holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and has a doctorate degree from Case Western University. His academic research focus was on designing sustainable systems that can survive in the face of unexpected disruptions.
